How do you travel to Oakland from SJSU by public transportation?
I'm at SJSU and I need to travel to Oakland by public transportation anyone know how?

Try Samtrans or Amtrak. (You'd take Samtrans to SF and then catch BART.)

try going to 511.org. they can tell you everything you need to know about commuting around the bay area.

Bus #180/Express takes you from SJ to Fremont BART. The stop is at 2nd and E St. John St (it's been a while please check the VTA site for schedule/availability). Then take BART to Oakland.

Amtrak operates the Capitol Corridor trains several times each day between Sacramento and San Jose, with stops in Oakland. The SJ station is on Cahill St (across from the HP Pavilion), while the Oakland stop is at Jack London Square. You can park a car at the Cahill Station, or take your bike on the train. www.amtrak.com -- look for the Capitol Corridor trains. (Not the Capitol Limited, which is on the East coast.)
